There isn't a day like today

A day of nothingness

No targets, no pressure

And the only agenda is to just be.

It's a day for yourself

To let out all of you

In their wildest forms you know.

Ask them if they'd like to eat chocolates

Or read a book,

Or simply dance around to the beats in your head.

They might want a pampered spa day

A comfy meal and Netflix perhaps,

Or a deep conversation on black holes.

On those days like today,

It's okay to let you live

To just breathe

To just enjoy the stillness

Amidst the metamorphosis you're going through.

Because you wouldn't realise

When the caterpillar turned into a beautiful butterfly so soon.
