Sugar binge

Time is still on some days And the eerie silences, Play loud in my ears, Lurk my heart to memories That I boxed as dark chocolates- More bitter and less sweet But nevertheless chocolates. . It unboxed and unwrapped black dirty yet shimmery wrappers And the chocolate is shoven into my heart to digest. I mince them pretty fast For it's a habit now, And let it's taste linger Through my nerves Till I feel my gut knitting. . Ohh, the after-taste in my body It leaves, ties me to the past And let my head spin in illusions. I drink gallons of water To wash off the taste Or pull up a box of spicy savories. When nothing helps, I search all it's minute sweetness From the enwrapped bitterness. I remind myself that it's dark, But it's still chocolate. . #poetryclub #poemsofig #poetsofig #bloggers #bloggingcommunity #memories #atonofmemories #memoriestocherish #bittermemories #darknights #poetryonmrmories #poetcommunity #chocolate #chocolstelove #poetryonchocolates #poemonchocolates #darkandbitter #darkchocolate #darkchocolates #bitterchocolate #bitterchocolates #poemaboutlife #pormaboutself

Sometimes all you have left is the taste, nothing else, you better treasure them. Because some days ahead when you are close to your six feet palace, nothing remains just the thought of you in others heart.
