My grandmom and the right jalebi

My grand mom has the greatest sweet tooth in the whole world which says why she's the sweetest person on earth too. But ironically, she doesn't have a single real tooth.

She's comfortable wearing dentures only for photographs where she wants to show how happy she is. Coming back to the story, my grandmom being an expert cook never made jalebis her entire life. When I asked her about it, she said, "Jalebis are my favourite. I want my favourite people to bring me the tastiest jalebi in the world at the exact moment I wanted." "But paati, how will we know when you need jalebis at the right time?", I asked her.
She simply smiled and said, "You'll just know. People promise the moon and stars on their spouses' feet. I am just asking for the tastiest jalebi the moment I want." Her wish was as simple as she is.  Strangely, I found it the most difficult thing to do on earth. Isn't it difficult to find out when she craves for a jalebi? If at all we found, how on earth are we going to bring the tastiest crispiest jalebi that will actually satisfy her? And what if the jalebis become hard while we bring it to her? She can't chew them without her teeth. These were the thoughts running on my mind.

She is seventy two years old and still nobody she loves has managed to fulfill this wish of hers and she hasn't eaten that "right" jalebi in sixty six years. The  first and last time she ate the right jalebi was when her mother made one and fed her, she told.
Now it all makes sense. None of us can bring the right jalebi because we will never find it on earth. It's her mother who did the magic to feed her the tastiest crispiest and the rightest jalebi.
.
My grandmother and her quest for the right jalebi still continues. I hope for that mom's magic to happen to her again.
