The Lilly's story

Lilly wouldn't eat an idli
On a warm sunny monday
Before leaving to school.
She closes her lips like a convex lens
And shrinks her eyes to a tiny dot
And asks for a chocolate instead.

She walks in with her bare foot
And now doesn't care about fighting with mud puddles
And getting dirty from the head to the toe.

She is hardly concerned about catching a cold,
When all she does is drenching and dancing in the rare monsoon rains.

Lilly wouldn't mind to cry her heart out
When she watches Jack drown saving Ross,
She is least bothered to hide her tears and show up her red swollen face.

Lilly perhaps knew it already,
That there's a climax
And what happens in the climax,
She didn't realize if she changed the narration or her story.
Little did she know
That she changed her story
That would have her thumbprints all over and nothing more
And that it will be "The Lilly's story".
